After we celebrated the 2007 New Year we were brought back to reality very quickly with Kaitlin's 1st science fair project. Kaitlin researched many projects and decided to go with"Cooking Carrots, Comprehending the Culinary Conflict ", mainly because she loves to cook. Kaitlin was instrumental in all the phases of her project. She was very excited about seeing her hypothesis proven or failed. She was very impressive as she meticulously recorded her results. I remembered back to my science fair days with great misery and pain, so I was relieved that Kaitlin enjoyed her project and had fun during all the phases. The teacher was very happy with her work, and Kaitlin received many compliments from her class mates.
