Christmas in Texas!!!

Kaitlin (2nd from the left back row) had her Christmas piano recital she played a duet and two solo pieces to a standing room only in her piano teachers living room.

We went to see the Bethlehem Revisited in Waxahachie, Texas at the Central Presbyterian Church. We took our friends from seminary the Gressette family. It was their 1st time and our 2nd. It was a cold night but they put on such a great exhibition complete with sheep, camels, Roman guards arresting people to authentic towns people in the local shops.

The two smallest girls Isabelle and Sara Elizabeth earned their keep by turning the grain press. It really is a great tradition that we have made here in Texas, and it really has a a way of starting the season with the right perspective.

Continuing in our reputation as COD (Church of the Open Door) East Campus!!! We were paid a very special visit from our very dear friends The McDougal family! (From left to right) Becca, Colin, Stewart, Mary Catherine, and Tim. We were able to have dinner visit and pray together for the upcoming year. It was very brief but wonderful refreshing and a sweet time of fellowship and encouragement. Colin and Becca lead our small group "Send Me" and played a huge role in our spiritual growth that enabled us to hear God's call to Dallas Theological Seminary.
