The month of October was filled
with projects for Kaitlin.
There was a Texas History project,
a Holocaust project/reading Anne Frank/Diary,
and the preparation for the Science Fair.
Here is one of her presentations
which followed loads of research
and writing. The subjects was the
Standards of the Warsaw Ghetto
during the Holocaust.
Kaitlin created a tear drop holding the Ghetto
and the rules surrounded the picture.
Mrs. Hanely her English teacher
asked to keep her project....
Much to the chagrin of her pack rat Mama.
So I asked Kaitlin to take the camera
to school and take a picture.
This is a much better way to store her work!

Isabelle is in Awana this year.
She is a 3 year old Cubbie.
Each week there is a different theme,
this week was Western Wear!
Isabelle likes being a cowgirl!(can you tell?)
She loves going to Cubbies and seeing Cubbie Bear and his friends.
Although, she doesn't like saying her verses for her teachers.
She shouts them, whispers them and sings them at home....
She says, "I'm Shy."
We say, "Ha Ha Ha"

We had a fun Halloween!
We carved a pumpkin, passed out candy, ate roasted pumpkin seeds, went "Trick or Treating" and hung out with our neighbors! The Bauer's who live across the street have 3 beautiful girls....Sarah and Isabelle held hands and chatted away, until someone opened the door and said Hello to them. Then they didn't talk at all. Kaitlin, Katie and Megan handed out candy and then the Dad's walked them to a haunted house in the backyard a few streets away!
Lots of smiles and sugar for all!

Our other daughter named Makayla
(she lives at the end of our street)
is Freddy the Falcon for the girls' Junior High.
Here we are at a game and Isabelle
is so thrilled to hug Freddy!!!

Kaitlin and Isabelle
at the Pumpkin Patch!
While Mimi was here each of the girls picked
a pumpkin and Mommy got beautiful Mums.

Well, Isabelle and I did it! We cut off our long hair and donated it to Locks of Love. We both sent in 12 inches! My Mom came for a visit and we used her stylist skills to cut away!!! Izzy and I love our short hair!

Of course Mark had to get into the act!!!!

Izzy was not sure at first but when she saw how excited Mommy was she was ready! She is very proud of her hair cut! It was actually her first cut, well besides the bangs.....
