Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Overlin! Terry and Julia were traveling on a belated honeymoon and made Rowlett, TX one of the stops. We had a great visit, Kaitlin talked their ears off and Isabelle entertained Terry with a tea party. They had a lovely time and their manners were impeccable. All the while Julia snapped pictures and giggled! Mark took them along to Dr. Ron Allen's class and Julia was energized by the scriptures. Mark and Terry picked up where they left off; sharing and laughing. On their way out of town, we went to Chapel. Dr. Larry Crabb was speaking on "Chess Player or Poet...Who does God reveal himself to?" Powerful message! Lots of love and laughter with great friends...

OHIO STATE vs TEXAS
What a game! What fun!
What a crazy man I am married to!
He hangs that flag every week.
I was wondering the night of the game if we would be egged or worse?
Seriously, this is Texas they are serious about football!
Here we are all decked out in OSU apparel.
David Wilhite who was born in Ohio and lives down the street,
came to watch the game with us. He was wearing an upside down Texas shirt.
Mark of course projected the game on the wall.
He must have smiled for days over this win!
I think this might have made studying Greek a bit easier.
Come on down Y'all and watch a game with us!
I promise it is always entertaining.

We also were visited by Scotty Ray. Wow. What a great time. Lots of laughs, hugs and fun! Scotty breezed in played with Isabelle, TP'd the neighborhood with Kaitlin, laughed with Mark and ate at Chez Michele. We got to catch up in person instead of the weekly phone call. Again we did the tour of Dallas and the Seminary. We celebrated Labor Day with Greg and Michelle Fink, friends from our home church who are also here at Seminary. Scotty left his Hawaiian shirt for Kaitlin with his cologne on it. She wore it every night to bed for weeks. Sometimes we wondered if Scotty was still here?' Our visit with Scotty was filled with laughter and great heart to heart time. We sure do miss our little brother!

Gene and Ginger Luber arrived for a wonderful 4 day visit from Arkansas. We had a great time seeing pictures from their Missions Trip to Kijabe. Mark took them on a sightseeing trip of Dallas and to the Seminary. We had a very special evening of rocking, reading, Ginger playing the piano and wonderful refreshing conversation! We visited Stonebriar Church on Sunday and had a great Mexican Lunch....then we said "Thanks for coming and See you again on another visit."
