KAITLIN'S FUN IN PENNSYLVANIA
Kaitlin and her cousins......Alaina, Kara and Olivia.
They had fun hanging out and spending time together.

HELLO AMERICA!

Back in Pennsylvania....
Kaitlin and her girl Shea.

GOODBYE ZANZIBAR......
Sunset in Zanzibar.....

FUN WAS HAD BY ALL?
I would have to say from the look on my Dad's face, Kaitlin is beating him at cards. And from the look on her face, she is rubbing it in!

I think Mom and Kaitlin are having fun "Chillin" in the room!

Lunch in town as they were shopping!

ADVENTURE TO THE RAIN FOREST!

One day my Mom was not feeling very well. Dad and Kaitlin headed off for a tour of the Rain Forest and Red Colubus Monkey sightings! They learned a lot about the plants and monkeys!

KAITLIN LOVED ZANZIBAR

I guess you can see why she loved Zanzibar so much!!!!
Pool Time, Shell Collecting, Beach Time and Kayaking!
This is the perfect place for a girl who loves the water!!!
Those of you who know me......know I am so jealous over these pictures! Yea.....Kaitlin is my girl!

HERE WE COME ZANZIBAR!

Heading off to Zanzibar!
I love that as they took off there would be a whistle blown and then
two boys would chase the cows from the landing strip!
They stayed at a beautiful little resort called Mbewni Ruins Hotel.http://www.mbweni.com/

GREAT MEMORIES MADE!
I am not sure the location of this picture.....somewhere in Tanzania.
Dad, Mom and Kaitlin had a wonderful and exciting trip of a lifetime.
I know they all have special memories....but these are a few of my favorites.
1. The small herd of elephants that passed within 5 feet of their
tent as they played cards by candlelit one night.
2. They saw the Big Five (Rhino, Lion, Elephant, Cape Buffalo and the Cheetah)
on their first safari. (very unusual)
3. Kaitlin singing in the video camera to the animals and my dad.
Thank you Dad and Mom for giving Kaitlin this experience.
Our hearts have been blessed through your generosity!

MORE TANZANIA!
Journal writing.....I loved reading all of their journal postings.....
I must say, by far my dad kept the best journal!
Filled with great information, facts and amounts of animals and the specie.
Great job, Dad!
I think these baboons have the right idea, great view and great location.

The adventurer's got to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration.
They say the literally saw a million wildebeest.....
I just can't imagine. Kaitlin also says they make a very annoying sound!

Isn't she beautiful?
She was only about 4 feet from the road.

This is only way you want to get close to a Cape Buffalo!

VISITING THE MASAI
They stopped at a village along the way one day as my dad was very interested in the Masai and what they used to hunt and work....he ended up purchasing a machete, club and spear....you can see my dad holding the club and the machete. I also got some beautiful material I plan to make a skirt with.

A few more animals....Hippos and Zebras.

Here are the adventurers in their vehicle and Kaitlin and my Mom at a lunch stop. And finally sending me an email.....Yes!

CHECK OUT THESE ANIMALS!
Some of these amazing animals.....Lion, Monkey, Giraffe, Cape Buffalo and Elephants (so close) Isn't that baby sweet? Kaitlin often rode on the top of the Land Cruiser....but here is Kaitlin and Papa.

WELCOME TO TANZANIA!
They have arrived in Africa.....
Kaitlin had a bit of fun with the robes in the tent and kicked back on the hammock outside of the tent. We understand she was quite the adventurous eater. She tried many different foods, but always asked for lemon.....then she could eat anything!

Pictured with my dad is their guide and their driver.....The Masai guide was very interested in Kaitlin as a wife.....GULP GULP. He said he has always wanted a young American wife......
This was a very uncomfortable part of the trip for Kaitlin.

But check out these two brothers.....they watched them play, splash and roll in the mud....

FOLBRECHTS FAMILY AND HOME
Presents from America.....and their home....Jeanie and I chatting on Skype while my Dad is naps......

TOUR OF AMSTERDAM.....

The tour continued with a canal ride and a look at the bicycle parking!
