After a great time in Coral Springs we headed back to Melbourne to see Nanna and Gene again before we made our trek back to Texas!

We were so blessed to have such a fantastic trip!
One thing we have been learning is faith. We have given up so much to pursue this calling to ministry an yet God has blessed us with exactly what we need when we need it.

Driving to FL for Christmas was only made possible by family chipping in for gas and staying staying with family. I'm sure it was a sacrifice to them but what we experienced from their sacrifice was the gift of freedom and a great Christmas celebration by being with family and being connected. If you are rich in relationships money is truly a non object, because we pursue what we value. God pursues us with His love, Jesus tells us to love one another. We have a highly relational God and desires His people to have highly valuable relationships with one another.

God continues to move through the generous hearts of those we are close too and some complete strangers! It is truly amazing to look back over the past two years knowing how faithful God has been to his call to us in going into full time ministry through our education at DTS.

Great-Grandma McCune (Nanny-Bell) treated the girls to a fabulous day at Build-A-Bear!

It was hard to tell at times who was having more fun . . .

Nanny-Bell . . .

The Mommies. . . .

or the Girls!!!

All in all I'd say the day was a HUGE SUCESS!!!

Thank YOU NANNY BELL!!!

We all counted down 2006 and celebrated by toasting in the year 2007 with Sparkling Grape Juice and and lots of noise, fun and kissing!!!

We celebrated Christmas during New Years Eve and made the most of it! What is better than Christmas and New Years all at once?

After the stop in West Palm Beach at the Sloan's Ice Cream shop we headed to the real Sloan's in Coral Springs where my sister Beth and her husband Ron live.

NEW YEARS EVE DAY 2006
On the way down to Coral Springs to visit my sister Beth and her family we stopped in West Palm Beach to see possibly the COOLEST bathroom ever! (according to Kaitlin)

Sloan's Ice Cream has a bathroom door that is clear glass. Upon entry you can see perfectly through the door to the entire bathroom, but after you close and lock the door the glass frost's over so no one can see you do your business!
It was pretty cool, good one Kaitlin!
The ice cream was good too!

The next day we had a fun day at the beach. Isabelle still remembers this day at the beach.

We burried the girls in sand.

Played hard and just relaxed!!!

Then we went to Titusville to see the everglade wildlife preserve. It was a great drive with lots of critters to see!

We saw lots of birds, and alligators. The very last turn before we left the preserve is where we saw the grandaddy alligator. It was getting dark and photo didn't turn out well.
He had to be every bit of 10 feet easy.

Larry and Niyama with their little boy Logan drove a couple hours from Valrico, FL to stay over night.

Isabelle and Logan were introduced and in a couple years I'm sure they will be buddies!

We had a fun night of laughter and catching up then the next day we had a great pizza lunch!
